  • Founded in 1967, Nueva School is a pre-K-to-eighth-grade private school that serves 400 students on its 33-acre suburban campus.
  • Completed in 2007, Nueva School’s campus expansion project includes two green roofs that create more than 10,000 square feet of California grassland habitat, an endangered resource.
  • Drought-tolerant native plant species coupled with water-conserving irrigation systems reduce water use by 53 percent.
  • More than 80 percent of all construction materials were recycled.
