Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan (CBAP)

Sets the strategy for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, Chapters, and members

The new Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Chapters will direct all Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and Chapter climate- and biodiversity-related programs and investments from 2026-2030. Goals and actions will be revisited and updated every five years until 2040. A companion Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Members will provide best practice guidance, toolkits, and resources for Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ members and their firms and organizations to advance climate and biodiversity action within practice and academia.

The existing Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate Action Plan and Field Guide will continue to guide Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ and members through the end of 2025.  
 
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee (CBAC)

Implements the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan at the National Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Level

The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee (CBAC) provides input to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ leadership on strategies for advancing the role of landscape architecture in biodiversity and ecological restoration and mitigating and adapting to climate change. The committee develops educational resources and research for landscape architects and educators.

The committee is guided by a Chair and includes four subcommittees:

• Carbon Drawdown
• Biodiversity
• Climate Agency & Community Resilience
• Climate Leadership & Communications 

The CBAC subcommittee on climate leadership & communications leads the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action Network (CBAN).

Enables regional collaboration on Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Climate and Biodiversity Action goals and builds the capacity of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Chapter Climate and Biodiversity Action Committees
