Urban Design
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ¡¯s Urban Design PPN serves as a forum for advocates of design excellence within the urban realm. We facilitate communication among related disciplines involved in urban design while we promote and support landscape architects as recognized collaborative partners and leaders. Our group is focused on the intricate relationships involving built and green environments, the unique contribution that the natural environment makes to the quality of city life, and the importance of the role that landscape architects play as stewards of the urban environment.
Goals of our group include:
- exploring and discussing urban design issues, including best practices;
- sharing information via and the Urban Design PPN LinkedIn group; and
- promoting and supporting collaborative partnerships between landscape architects and other urban design professionals.
