Introduction and Project Overview:
The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) in partnership with the Fayette County Commission is leading a planning and development effort focused on the 900+ acre parcel known as Wolf Creek Park located between Oak Hill and Fayetteville in Fayette County, West Virginia.

Wolf Creek Park is nestled in the heart of the New River Gorge region, West Virginia¡¯s outdoor recreation capital. Envisioned as a four-season mixed-use development, Wolf Creek Park has room for residents and employers seeking a close connection to the land and will serve as a model of sustainable development.

Conceptual plans and analysis of the site have been created as part of previous planning efforts ¨C these existing planning documents will be used to inform current efforts. NRGRDA and Fayette County are receiving technical assistance and funding support for this effort through Activating Natural Resources Economies, a program of The Conservation Fund.

Disciplines/Services Sought:
NRGRDA is seeking multidisciplinary design firms, Planning and Development Consultants to undertake planning and predevelopment activities for Wolf Creek Park, including the development of a master site plan. The site plan shall incorporate a phased development plan for residential and mixed-use development, alongside identification of desirable parcels for recreation access, trail development, and conservation.
